Gary is a native of Florida, being born and raised in Jacksonville.
Over his lifetime he has enjoyed many different styles of music. He
started dancing in 1990 and soon learned how to Beach Bop. He enjoyed
dancing and the music so much that he started collecting music with the
idea of being a deejay in the future.
In August 1995, the lounge the Boppers were dancing in closed. They
found another lounge and Gary volunteered to play the first Sunday night
and played every Sunday night for seven years. Soon he was being ask to
play other dances and parties. He started a professional DeeJay business
called Dancers Delight. He not only plays for the Boppers and Shaggers but
also specializes in Weddings, reunions, and other parties.
Gary is a member of the National Association of Rhythm & Blues
DeeJay’s. You will find Gary either in the DJ booth or on the dance
floor with his love, Susan. Gary’s other hobbies include photography and

Ray has spent most of his adult life in Jacksonville, Florida but hails
from Louisville, Ky. He has always had a "burn" for music. The
50's and 60's records began his incredible collection of all types of
music. His true music love is Beach, Boogie and Blues.
Ray actively supports all of the dance clubs in Jacksonville and
surrounding areas. He is popular with dance clubs and routinely promotes
beach music by playing in clubs like Club Savoy, 57 Heaven and Club Bimini.
He has also played in Savannah, Ga. at the National Fastdance Association
Fall Convention.
Ray is a member of the National Association of Rhythm and Blues DJ's,
as well as the Association of Beach and Shag Club DJ's.
If you can't find Ray in the DJ's booth spinning music that he truly
loves, he'll be on the dance floor moving & grooving some foot steps
of his own.......

Tony Gonzalez

Tony started collecting beach music and DJing in the early 1990’s. He
has been playing for the local dance community in Jacksonville, FL where
he has played for the Jacksonville Beach Bop Association, Florida Boppers,
Inc., and First Coast Shag Club.
Tony has been invited to play for other dance clubs such as the Tampa
Bay Beach Boppers, Daytona Beach Shag Club, Shag-Beach Bop Savannah,
Savannah Shag Club, Harriett’s J B Pivots Beach Club Charleston, SC and
Golden Isle Shag Club, Brunswick, GA.
Tony is a regular DJ for Club Savoy and the First Coast Shag Club. He
is a member of The National Association of R&B DJ’s, National
Association of Beach & Shag Club DJ’s and is a founding member and
serves on the board of directors for Club Savoy, Jacksonville, FL. Tony
presently serves as President of the First Coast Shag Club.

Paul Spaulding

Paul is a long time resident of Jacksonville, having moved here in
1977, after graduating from Georgia Southern University. He was born in
Ft. Bragg, North Carolina, moving around the globe with his family, until
his dad retired from the Army in 1966. Paul got his first taste of
deejaying at the age of 14 while living in Germany. He would help spin the
platters for the local American Youth Association Teen Club. Ever since
then, music has been a big part of his life.
While in high school and in his early college years, he worked with
several local bands in Brunswick, Georgia area. His interest in music
continued to grow, developing quite an ear for good, solid dance tunes.
Paul has been actively dancing since his teen years in Germany and high
school days in Brunswick, GA. He stepped back into the deejay booth
several years ago, when the local shag club was forced to find another
dance location.
His love for music and the desire to share this with others led him to
start Beach Fever Music, Mobile DJ Service. Paul is a member of the
National Association of Rhythm and Blues Dee Jays As well as the
Association of Beach and Shag Club Dee Jays He is the past President of
the First Coast Shag Club. When he is not spinning the tunes or working on
a new dance step, he can be found in his garage doing some woodworking or
on the road riding his bicycle. Paul has played the following events.

Earl Yeomans

Earl has lived in Jacksonville since 1968. Worked in Television at
Channel 12 and Channel 4. Played in dance bands all around Jacksonville.
Started DJing for private parties and weddings in the late eighties. First
became involved with the Florida Boppers at Back to the Beach II.
Earl is the Chairman of the Board for the Florida Boppers and is
Chairperson for the DJ's at BTTB. Besides being a member of the Florida
Boppers he is a member of the National Association of R&B DJ's.
Allswing DJ's, and the First Coast Shag Club. In the year 2008 Earl was
the Allswing DJ of the Year. And at the Grand Nationals in Atlanta Earl
will be inducted into the Allswing DJ Hall of Fame for 2009. Earl is a
member of the National Fast Dance Hall of Fame and The Florida Boppers
Hall of Fame.
